Our Team

WorkLife Central is run by a team of working parents, the majority with corporate backgrounds, who are passionate about the support and resources they deliver to parents and professionals in corporate roles. WorkLife Central Ltd is owned by Louisa Symington-Mills (CEO and Founder).

At WorkLife Central we all work fully flexibly; part-time, remotely and predominantly term-time only. If you'd like to get in touch, we'd be delighted to hear from you and welcome all feedback.

Our story

WorkLife Central was founded by Louisa Symington-Mills in late 2012 with the aim of providing support, expertise and inspiration to working mothers. Originally known as Citymothers, in April 2014 Cityfathers was launched to provide a similar offering for working fathers. In November 2015, these groups were combined and rebranded as 'Cityparents' to reflect our fully inclusive ethos, the diversity of our member base and our wide-ranging offering.

In May 2022, the name Cityparents changed to WorkLife Central, reflecting the continued evolution of the programme to provide expertise, information and inspiration to all professionals, and its transition from an in-person offering to a wholly-online resource.

Today, WorkLife Central is an award-winning organisation offering a carefully curated programme of online content across topics relevant for home life, work life and wellbeing.
