Our story

WorkLife Central was founded by Louisa Symington-Mills in late 2012. Originally known as Citymothers and subsequently Cityparents, its origins were in offering wide ranging support to working parents in ‘City’ roles. 

In May 2022, WorkLife Central was born, reflecting the continued evolution of the programme to provide expertise, information and inspiration to all professionals, and its transition from an in-person offering to a wholly-online resource.

Today, Worklife Central offers businesses a platform bursting with content to support their employees across all strands of modern work and family life. With an easily accessible, multi-format programme dedicated to supporting employees’ growth, resilience and happiness both in and out of the workplace, WorkLife Central instantly demonstrates your commitment to organisational wellbeing.
